The central element of Skala is the grand staircase. All living areas are arranged above and to the west of this staircase, as its eastern side becomes the site for a cascading water feature, flowing down the steps and through shallow ponds from the guest terrace up top all the way to the main swimming pool.

The pool is flanked by a large sunbathing area and a covered external lounge and dining plaza, providing views over the water to the southern horizon.
